“Brahmand”or Cosmic Egg represents the entire creation, and as the name indicates, it is an egg shaped mass that includes three distinct parts within. The outer most exampansive region of golden red light is called Brahmlok because it is filled with Brahm, the sixth luminous element of golden red color. It is also called Shantidham because there is extreme silence here due to absence of thought, speech and movement. It is called Muktidham since the souls are free from the bondage of body here. It is called Paramdham because it is the abode of God, the highest authority of this creation. Inner to this region, we have the subtle world wherein the subtle deities Brahma, Vishnu and Shankar reside. Their areas are called Brahmpuri, Vishnupuri and Shankarpuri where there is no sound, but both thoughts and movements are present. Inner to subtle world is the Corporeal Human world where the souls put on the costume of male or female body in order to act their roles in the eternal world drama. In this world we have the five gross elements of nature, the sun, the moon, stars, earth and other planets. Earth is in reality a revolving drama stage wherein nature; soul and Supreme soul unite to enact the eternal drama. The original abode of souls is Param Dham where souls stay with Supreme Father, God Shiva.

Soul is a very subtle micro star of sentient light that resides within the middle of brain, the surface marking being between the eyebrows. The soul functions through three subtle faculties – Mind, Intellect and Personality traits (Sanskaras).
Mind: It is the thinking faculty of the soul and functions like a T. V. screen. The image of the person, thing or situation about which we think (or desire), appears on the screen of Mind, simultaneously letting us to experience the innate qualities of the same. For example, when we think about the sun, we experience its heat and light.
Intellect: Intellect is the discrimination and decision power of the soul. Identification, understanding, awareness, logic, judgment etc are the functions of the intellect.
Personality Traits or Impressions (Sanskaras) :
Every action performed leaves an impression on the soul, and this impression is called “sanskara” in Hindi. Habits, personality traits, temperaments and emotional tendencies are sanskaras imprinted on the soul through its actions. Total personality of human being is the reflection of the sanskaras. The seven basic or primary attributes form our original sanskaras from which the virtues and powers emerge at the secondary level (Mind and intellect) and values come at the tertiary level (human interactions). When our thoughts emerge from the basic qualities of sanskara we have elevated thoughts that lead to elevated actions. This situation prevails when we are soul-conscious. When we become body-conscious, the basic attributes get clouded with impurities or vices like lust, anger, greed, attachment and arrogance. This results in impure thoughts, incorrect decisions and sinful actions, bringing miseries and pain to the person, corruption, hoarding, strife, exploitation in the society and natural calamities like earth quake, tsunami, cyclones etc.
